The boyfriend pictures made me laugh. My fiance wanted to write a book entitled "Help! My girlfriend is a knitter!" including things about how to survive at a fiber festival and what the appropriate reaction should be after being asked "feel how soft this is! isn't it soft?" for the hundredth time.
So fun to read about your knitting past! Loved the drawings! You know, I used to have one of those to (cheesy boyfriend) Aren't you glad they are out of the picture ;) I know I am!
Great post! I can completely relate to the frustration. I still clearly remember looking at my husband and saying, "people actually enjoy this?" That was ten years ago.
This made me smile so much!! I especially love the smiling socks and the spinning picture. Oh, and the "Thank you for knitting us!" This post made my day!
This was one of my favorite posts of Day 5 - I've listed it together with other creative posts here: http://knitreadclick.wordpress.com/2012/05/02/something-different-but-its-still-wednesday/
